Quantity Validation / Verification:
We provide PEER review to validate the bill of quantities prepared by designer or company quantity surveyors. CU team has been working more than 20 years in the construction industry. We have established complex parameters to validate quantity take-off, we are specialized and expert in quantity validation of concrete frame structure by applying different concrete and steel ratios. CU team has established ratios of each component of construction project by using different criteria such as BUA, # of room, # of keys, # of resident and # of beds. We provide insight of projects while providing the final report for PEER review.
Preliminary BOQ
CU team develop initial BOQs based on concept and schematic designs which enable clients to ensure the viability of project . We produce preliminary BOQs by using our benchmarking techniques and produce accurate BOQs. We have developed a comprehensive benchmarking criteria based on different factors.
Elemental BOQ
The elemental breakdown structure undertakes measurement and description by group elements, with each group element forming a separate section of the bill of quantities, irrespective of the order of work sections in NRM 2. Group elements are sub-divided using elements, which are further sub-divided by sub-elements, as defined by NRM 1: Order of cost estimating and cost planning for capital building works. Cost Umbrella team is expert in preparing elemental BOQ inline with industry standards.
Priced BOQ Verification:
We provide PEER review services for priced BOQs in-order to validate the accuracy and ensure that no calculation errors part of compiled bills. In-addition, we highlight the unit rates which are significantly higher than the market rates or contractor has applied front loading or back loading techniques to secure the profit in early construction activities.
